⇒ WinCC OA Development Employee (m/f/d)

To support our dedicated team, we are now looking for a WinCC OA Development Employee (m/f/d) in full-time for our location in Eisenstadt/Linz at a rate of 38.5h/week.

Your tasks:

  • Collaborate with the development team to transform backlog items into functional, high-quality software
  • Take ownership of tasks in areas such as architecture, development, testing, and design, contributing to a deliverable product increment at the end of each sprint
  • Ensure alignment with technical responsibilities of other teams.
  • Actively participate in team efforts to deliver value through iterative and incremental development processes
  • Support the team in maintaining a high standard of quality and innovation throughout the development lifecycle

Need to have:

  • Higher technical education or a degree in automation or information technology (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, or Technical University)
  • Proven experience in object-oriented software development, particularly with C++
  • Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux).
  • Proficiency in development tools such as Visual Studio, Microsoft Azure DevOps, GIT, and cmake
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, stress resistance, and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with social, product, and technical skills
  • Spoken and written English (min. B1)

Nice to have:

  • Basic knowledge of German (if not native)
  • Experience with agile software development and continuous delivery processes
  • Interest in emerging technologies such as Cloud, Big Data, Industry 4.0, and AI
  • SCADA/HMI knowledge
  • Understanding of and interest in security, secure communication, and communication protocols
  • Familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript


Working hours
: Full-time with a flexible schedule (flexi account)

Place of employment: Austria: Eisenstadt or Linz, partial possibility for home office (after successful break-in)

Entry: immediately available

Salary: The salary classification is based on KV IT / ST1, depending on the advancement level 14 times a year with at least € 3.500,- per month, based on 38.5 hours per week.
We will be happy to discuss the actual salary when we meet in person and it will depend on the knowledge and experience you already have.
